“Host was very accommodating. Location is well off the beach, but a good launch location for anyone touring the area. This area is however slow, lacking some amenities ( ride share apps) - out of season ( which should be expected)😁.”

“Breakfast was fresh foods including homemade jams, fruits from garden, local cheeses and breads and eggs from the farm. Comfortable beds, quiet property, conveniently located near WW2 museums and historical sites. Paul is an amazing host. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Kind staff and beautiful setting. However, spa jacuzzis were dirty, there were half drunk bottles of water in our fridge and used robes hanging in the bathroom.”

“Well located, clean, functional and affordable. Did not partake in breakfast. Worked out very well for our full-day Normandy/D-Day tour with nights on either side. ”

“The setting was beautiful, and the room was very clean. The grounds were very well kept. Gabrielle was extremely helpful. The breakfast offering was more than adequate with lots of choice. The only real downside from my point of view was the limited menu available in the evenings, however the food they did provide was excellent quality. I would happily book again.”

“The staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions as we know very little french. The shuttle driver from Bayeux to Mt St Michel was exceptional. I believe his name is Yon? (unsure of spelling but this is how I pronounced it) He was friendly, professional, kind and very informative. Very please with my visit!!”

“Hotel is in a great location with nearby parking, restaurants and shops. Breakfast had many choices and the food was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff was great except for one at the front desk who was not helpful when asked about restaurants and reservations.”

“Lovely room in Bayeux that was walking distance from the train station. Proprietor was lovely and she provided early continental breakfast if needed. I encourage solo travellers to come here. Very nice small place with a courtyard. Make sure you know address when first arriving only a small plaque and red door to identify. Bayeux is a charming and beautiful Norman town. One flight of concrete steps to room.”

“The lobby, bar, restaurant areas are bright, clean, and welcoming. The guest rooms are also clean and nice but with very minimum furniture. The hallways were under construction, and you walked through covered carpets and sheet rock to get to your room. The air conditioning did not work. You had to open the window to get cool air. When we complained, first they said this was because of the construction, then changed the story and said the air conditioners were off because it was not the season...

“I was literally unable to check in. It wasn’t until the day of check-in that I was told that I needed to provide a down payment. This has not been mentioned in any previous communication. Upon reaching the owner by phone, they notified me of a form to fill out to pay the down payment. I was unable to access the form. The owner seemed entirely disinterested in helping me. He did in fact provide no help. I was unable to check in and had to get other accommodations. By far the worst experience...
