This property is currently being renovated, but Expedia didn't have any warning making reference to this. The entire hotel is filthy including the rooms, bathrooms, common areas, etc. Also, it is very inconvenient to have construction crews and their supplies scattered all over the hotel.

The beds were very comfortable and the area is within walking distance of many dining options. You could walk to historic Grapevine but it's about 3/4 miles each way so consider that. While we were there the property is under construction to renovate so it doesn't look very clean or attractive in the lobby but I found it overall to be clean and adequate for an overnight stay. And the room itself was clean.

Under construction and didn’t mention anywhere before making the reservation that they would be under construction. The rooms were nice and clean but lobby was a mess and the rooms still not completely finished. I would have been okay with staying had I known before hand or had a discount offered due to the major renovation.

This isnthe second time we have stayed at this location. It is great. The pool is nice and the breakfast is good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They are still remodeling the first 2 floors, which is the only reason i didnt give all 5 stars. The elevator will be dirty due to renovations happening. The room upgrades being done are amazing! The beds were way more comfortable vs the old ones. The shuttle service was fantastic for us, we were not going or coming from the airport though. This is our go to place for our yearly event that takes place near by. There is a McDonald's and a gas station right across the parking lot which is very convenient.

I was traveling with my child and due to airline delays arrived into DFW at 10:40 pm. Once we got to the shuttle pick up area, I called the hotel to find out when it would arrive and could not hear the person on the phone. I asked them to hold on a second so I could go inside and hear better. They hung up on me. When I called back, I was told that the shuttle was closed for the night so we had to take an Uber. Arrived at the hotel 12:15 a.m. While we were checking in, a creepy guy came in and stood behind us in line. The front desk proceeded to loudly say our name and room number while the creepy guy is three feet away. Shuttle service was not open in the morning until after our departure, so we had to Uber again. The shuttle was the primary reason this hotel was selected in the first place. Also missed the included breakfast because we had to leave before it opened. As we walked to our room we could hear many TVs and conversations from the rooms in the hallway. We had difficulty sleeping because of the noise and not feeling safe. The newly remodeled room reflected poor workmanship- loose plumbing fixtures and horrible taping job on the paint throughout.

Although the other guests above me were a bit loud and rowdy, the hotel staff was pleasant and understanding with my 2 complaints about the noise above me. I let the staff know that i understood that there may be children who may be excited about their trip and to not say anything unless the noise continued into the late night after i returned from my dinner plans, and they appreciated my understanding but reassured me to let them know if the noise persisted upon my return. The noises did continue and I partnered with the hotel staff in order to get some well needed rest. Overall i was pleased with how clean and accessible the overall area and hotel was. I would definitely stay here again upon my return to Grapevine.
