"Overall the hotel, property, and staff were great and was a 20 mins walk from old town which was very convenient. However, housekeeping was very disappointing. They wouldn’t clean up dirty dishes, there were never enough towels in the bathroom and got a little attitude from the housekeeping staff. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been better."

"The hotel is beautiful, it has great ocean views. There’s not a lot of room in the room, not very spacious for luggage but very clean. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were horrible. We didn’t really like the buffet dinner and were disappointed for the cost. It’s about a 15 min walk from port, we did appreciate their luggage service so we didn’t have to haul them ourselves since no cars can take you to the hotel."

"The hotel is exceptional. Wonderful property with attentive and friendly staff. Quiet and serene in mid September. Short walk (10 min) to Cavtat along the beautiful harbor. The views are amazing! Will definitely return."

"We had the best stay! We were just coming off a 7 day island topping yacht trip so being able to stay in one place and recoup was great. The Beach Club was lovely the restaurants were fabulous, the breakfast that's included was not only delicious but being able to enjoy it on a rooftop restaurant with outdoor space Enjoy the ocean view was a cherry on top. I had a great massage at the spa. The gym was better than most hotels. The only thing I didn't love was the building in front of the hotel that's under construction, blocking part of our view of the water. We did have a huge balcony so you could see the water from most of the balcony and from the bedroom."

"I will always remember the Sun Gardens hotel for its breath-taking views, their cheerful, helpful, and friendly staff, and for the legendary, world-class breakfast! I will also remember Sun Gardens for the endless stairs at the residence part of the hotel. It was quite a workout going up and down those stairs for five days. Next time we will probably stay in the actual hotel, where there are elevators!"
