“I had hip surgery in the past the elevator was down I was not notified till I checked and was told I could cancel and go some where else after driving 9 hours”

“I’m surprised by all the excellent reviews, that’s why I booked it. This is an old hotel that needs some updates. It has a terrible smell all thru it. It was clean but needs better maintained. Bathroom is very small, tv didn’t work, room smelled.”

“Wonderful hotel, just surprised they don't offer a box of Kleenex in the room. I had to go down to front desk and they didn't have any either but clerk brought me some pocket pouches of tissues. Towels were Wonderful and very plush, but toilet paper was the cheapest and thinnest they could find.”

“The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...
