"Our room was very noisy the first night. We were right by the elevator, icy machine and our window faced a busy bridge. It was a long night. We were able to get our room switched for the next night to a much more quiet location with the help of the staff."

"We arrived late due to traffic. The night staff were so nice, and very accomdating when we asked for a late checkout the next day. The property was very clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was such a variety. The manager ( not sure of his name) was cleaning up the dining area after breakfast, and I had a conversation with him. He was very knowledgable about other Druiry Inns and made me aware of one at DisneyWorld, which will probably stay in next time we go. If we return to Charleston, we will definitely stay here."

"Super cute and unique boutique hotel. Loved the vibe and the pool area was great! The hotel room floor layout is a bit of a maze (U shaped setup with different stairs and elevators leading to different spots). The room was missing a soap dispenser by the bathroom faucet when I checked in and only had a “body balm” dispenser. I didn’t even realize it wasn’t the soap dispenser until I saw a $39.99 charge to my corporate card a week after I checked out. I called the front desk who stated it was for a missing dispenser, but he said he’d remove the charge. Then it finally clicked after that call that they tried to charge me for the soap dispenser that was never there when I checked in. Overall, I was happy with the hotel and its great location! Hopefully the unwarranted charge for the dispenser gets reversed asap."

"The Tides exceeded our expectations! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and well-designed. Loved the balcony overlooking the ocean! Beach was very family-friendly, and love that the hotel provides chairs and towels. They really have tried to think of everything, and it made our trip so fun!"
