"I liked this hotel but the pillows were very uncomfortable and I didn’t find the very friendly. We dropped our luggage off early but it was just put into a room, like a board room. Was a bit worried but it was fine. It was so close to the rail station, 2 minute walk which we loved. But a little further from Old town than I thought but it wasn’t too bad, 15-20 minute walk. You get a free pass for the bus which was pretty easy to get around with and saved our legs at the end of the day. Overall I liked this hotel and would stay again. Just would like a better pillow and I’d rate it higher!"

"Apart from being as advertised, it is affordable and located in an excellent neighborhood (though it takes about 30 minutes to reach the center city by public transport). The room is of good size and has a balcony. Very helpful staff. The large lounge provides sofas, chairs and tables to work, eat or just read. Free coffee available in the lounge all day."

"This hotel is better than I expected. Traditional design. The room was quite spacious and clean. Location was a high point. We were able to walk to the center of the city in just a few minutes. Salzburg is a beautiful city and small enough to walk everywhere."
