"I was delightfully surprised. For the price and location, especially if you are planning to be out and about swimming or socializing and visiting all that Jamaica has to offer I thought it was great. And certainly if you don’t want to make a fuss getting to the airport in the morning, you can’t beat it."

"Some of my family went on vacation to this property with their friends, so last minute I decided to join them. Huge mistake. Security gate didn't bother to check our names, just waved us in. Front desk was helpful but definitely not friendly. The room was clean but the power master switch only worked sometimes which left us in the dark a lot. The shower tile is old and broken, the bathroom ceiling was ragged. The main lobby was under construction and had leaks everywhere so the entire lobby was wet and slippery. The breakfast buffet is a joke. Food is bland and basic and the staff act like they really dont want to be at work. You have to make reservations for every restaurant ahead of time through the app. The steak house was completely closed so eating options were limited. The restaurants we did try had decent food, but nothing special. Half the staff were friendly, the other half would rather you just leave. The pools were clean, and all of the pool bartenders were friendly and helpful. If you want to eat late good luck. Room service is NOT included, theres an $18 charge for every order. The sports bar is the only free option but staffing is limited and food service is unnecessarily slow. The food is mediocre at best. The beach is very nice with plenty of chairs, the grounds are very well maintained. The poor service, even poorer food selections, and the fact the property looks like it's still recovering from a storm gives the property 1 star."

"From the moment we pulled up to the front entrance of S Hotel, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff greeted us with a nice cold towel and a drink of our choice, professionalism, and attentiveness that we instantly felt welcomed and valued. Every detail throughout our stay reflected excellence — from the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel to the beautiful atmosphere and outstanding customer service. The food was absolutely remarkable, prepared to perfection and full of flavor. Every interaction with the staff made our experience even more memorable, as they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. S Hotel truly delivered an exquisite experience from beginning to end. Thank you for creating such unforgettable memories. This is definitely a place I will return to again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and exceptional hospitality!"

"Nothing was liked and nothing was good about this resort. Our family left the resort after 1 day due to the lack of hospitality and quality of anything on the resort. Also they did everything in their power to add additional fees room change, keeping room close together all normal request that we requested prior to check in but I would NEVER EVER visit this resort again. Supposedly we are supposed to get refunded but I highly doubt they will complete the refund process. STAY AWAY or visit at your own risk!"

"I honestly do not understand the hype behind this place. For the amount you pay here — easily $100–150 per person depending on drinks and appetizers — the experience was shockingly bad from start to finish. I’ve genuinely received better customer service from Chick-fil-A and even McDonald’s. The service was one of the worst parts. Our salad came out completely dry with no dressing, and after trying multiple times to get someone’s attention, the staff either ignored us or acted annoyed that we were asking for basic things. It felt like once they dropped the food off, we no longer existed. Water glasses stayed empty, dirty plates sat on the table forever, and nobody checked on us. For a restaurant charging premium prices, you expect professionalism, attention to detail, and at least decent hospitality. Instead, the staff seemed disorganized, uninterested, and completely disconnected from the dining experience. The food itself was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price point. I don’t mind paying for expensive meals when the quality and service match the cost, but this felt like paying luxury prices for fast-food level service — except somehow slower and less attentive. Extremely disappointing experience overall, and unfortunately not somewhere I would recommend or return to."

"1. First of all I chose their property to celebrate my 25th anniversary and requested some decoration in the room . They said yes. Upon arrival nothing was done in the room . Very frustrating to see this happened. When asked , they simply said - oh! The housekeeping must have forgotten . It shows they don’t care abt guest experience , no attentiveness and no courtesy! Atleast they could have said - ok we can do something later . But No Nothing !!! 2. No towels in the room upon check-in. Imagine you travel for 10 hours and reach hotel . U want to freshen up and take shower . There are no towels in the room non even hand towel . Second day , no room cleaning when asked to replace towels they give only 2 towels for 4 adults and say they are running out of towels !!! Even the towels are old and disgusting 3. Requested for early check in. But as u can guess , nothing was done as a courtesy We waited in lobby for more than an hour. 4. Our stupid room was right in front of the elevator . Was hearing the bell dings continuously for 2 days non stop. Idk which idiot design the room right in front of the elevator . Pathetic planning . 5. Torn bedsheets with holes. Pic attached.Comforter was so worn out felt like jute bag rag . No softness . Looks like they didnot replace it since the day the hotel was opened . Towels were like age old rag cloth too."

"The entire staff were very friendly and helpful. The Jamaican breakfast was great and plentiful. The room was clean, water was hot, and there were no issues with insects. I would definitely stay again."

"Will stay here anytime in Mobay. Close to everything walking distance. Across from the beach. Only downside is no turnover service like a hotel but pick up after yourself and you’ll be fine. WiFi worked and TV had entertainment. Ac worked in unit."
