"A lovely little hotel for our first night in Croatia. We wanted a place not too far from Zadar airport on the way to Plitvice. The hotel was perfect as it is newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The room was very comfortable and furnished to a high spec though a chair would have been appreciated. We had time for a lovely walk along the river to a waterfall then enjoyed an excellent pizza and beer at the hotel overlooking the river. The drive from the hotel to Plitvice is stunning."

"We arrived at Vila Nika to discover that it had been booked already but the owner gave us a room in the Boutique Cosmopolis situated opposite. The view was much prettier, we could see the sunset on the sea, it was beautiful. However there was no kitchenette so we struggled a fair bit in terms of cleaning cups/spoons/etc where we had to use the sink in the bathroom. "Highly recommended, good location, fully equipped kitchen, very efficient washing machine, comfortable bed. Good price. Quite spacious. Drawback: the district is a little bit noisy till even 2400 as eateries are near, their clients have happy nights, yet we still slept quite good."

I had the address programmed into my gps, and as I approached the address, it told me to park and be prepared to walk 10-15 minutes. I could not find parking anywhere close, long story short, I ended up parking, had to walk a half hour to the address, walk up a flight of stairs, and there are several apartments advertised but not the one I booked with. "Great property, perfect for a getaway with a bigger group of friends or family. Make sure you contact the property with check-in times before arrival, I didn't see the note that the property owner isn't on-site. But the owner was responsive and we got in faster than some hotel concierge lines I've been in."
