"WOW. We walked in and realized that there are security cameras everywhere and the fact that the caretaker was to stay with us is not advertised at all. We didnt feel comfortable so we just left.. the worst part? Hotels.com was never able to reach the manager, so we never got refunded for the money. we did NOT stay here, so i would think twice before staying here. If you are okay with staying with a caretaker, why not? but we just didn't feel comfortable and something about this place was OFF and...

"Wonderful hotel! The hospitality is unrivaled and every guest experience memorable, from the Afternoon High Tea to the delicious buffet dinner which my well travelled son described as one of the best meals he has had. Emmanuel, the Head Concierge was extremely attentive to the needs of the guests, ensuring that their visit is both enjoyable and safe. Thank you Emmanuel!! "This hotel has an old worldly charm about it. The buffet at breakfast and dinner is incredible and the staff very pleasant. A lovely touch having someone play the piano in the evening. Would stay again when visiting Colombo. They organised a great 4 hour city tuk tuk tour too which was fantastic."

"We stay in Cinnamon Grand every time we visit SriLanka. We love the set up with the lobby and the rooms.The rooms are clean well maintained and comfortable. Staff from the lobby,managers ,staff who clean the rooms are all very friendly ,courteous and professional in their jobs.They make us feel at home every time we come . I have no reservations in recommending this hotel to any one planning to visit Colombo."
