“The front desk staff was VERY RUDE!”

“시설도 깨끗했고 직원도 아주 친절하였습니다”

“The area was nice..the hotel was right next to 81..it was clean..front desk was very efficient and friendly..breakfast was really nice..I would definitely stay at this property again!”

“The property was recently sold and is undergoing renovations. I wish we knew that renovations were happening. The property holds promise to return to 5 star. There is clearly lots of work being done to the property. The bed was comfortable, there was someone to contact for any issues. I did contact the person listed and they were prompt in their response. The staff for the home cooked breakfast was polite, engaging and clearly loved working at Rockwood. The one true negative were...

“The room I stayed in had a terrible odor the shower had hair in it when I got there. I stayed 2 nights and on the second day I asked for towels and the front desk clerk said she would send some up I asked twice never received any. Oh and there breakfast ends at 9:00 and most of the other hotels owned by the same people are open till 10 the only thing nice about the hotel was the pool was clean and it’s close to Claytor lake”

“House was very clean with a well appointed kitchen. Great space for a large family with room to spread out. We love being beside the beautiful creek. ”

“Very nice house right on the lake. Lots of areas to sit/eat outside if it’s nice. ”

“The hotel is in terrible shape. I can only speak to the room I stayed in (103), but I can only imagine the others. The floors were not level and appeared the foundation was sagging. The front door had a hard time shutting, the bathroom door would not close, and the bathroom wall was wavy. Seems like the owners just tried to fix with drywall compound and paint. Also, the smoke detector was removed in our room.”

“Very clean, quiet room. Location is close to the freeway, but not near any sights or restaurants. Town is only a couple miles away. Wish we had known how much history Wytheville has as we would have spent more time there. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Good stay and reasonably priced.”

“Enjoyed pool and hot tub. Good coffee.”

“Lovely old hotel, friendly staff, on-site restaurant and rooftop patio”

“Service was great! Valet parking guys were fantastic helped with all our luggage. Food was expensive and as we arrived 1/2 before closing not that good. My pasta was cold.”
