Staff was do kind and very professional Definitely recommend if you stay in laguiole Love it

Exxceptional in every way.

The hotel is quite well-named; it really feels like the end of the world. Their dinner menu with a 17-euro three-course meal, aperitifs at 2.5 euros and a 50cl carafe of very drinkable wine at 6 euros made the place feel like a steal. HIghly recommended?

The room was very clean and well appointed. The front desk welcome was a bit brusk and they did not provide the WiFi password and it was not listed anyplace in the room. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk and since it was after 9pm when we got back to the room we had to go without internet. Other than that, our stay was fine.

Hosts were not there when we arrived. We had no idea where to go. Couldn't figure out the coffee machine. Could have used more coffee. Hosts were very nice

The hotel was comfortable and convenient, with friendly, helpful staff. My only disappointment was that the hotel was actually closed when we arrived at mid afternoon. I understood that check in was not until 4:30, but I wasn’t prepared for the hotel to actually be locked!

The owner is very kind and he is there very late even if it is past check in time. He only spoke French but tried his best to accommodate to other languages and was very helpful. The hotel itself is a bit outdated with appliances however it is in a very quiet beautiful location. The parking is the only flaw as it is in a small alley with about 10 spots.

This is a new hotel situated in the small quiet village of Villeneuve, recognised as one France's most beautiful villages. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and well furnished. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable and the staff were gracious and attentive. Across the road is a beautiful medieval old town Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful place to eat and sleep. Will return!

The pictures and description of this place online do not do it justice. We had no idea to expect that we'd drive a rough cobblestone road up the mountain to stay the night in a fairy tale castle, complete with a tower and a truly BREATHTAKING view of the countryside from our tall French windows which opened up to admit a fragrant breeze. Truthfully, we chose the hotel only because it was close to Chavaniac-Lafayette, and we didn't expect much. But even if our expectations had been higher, I...

Great quiet place close to train and country. Restaurant & spa are very convenient.

A family run business with the nicest people and excellent food. A real respite from travel.

Great stay. Excellent staff.

Nice hotel on a river. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice. The hotel is an old Chateau and the room was beautiful. Very familiar. Highly recommended for everyone who has business in Issoire or Clermont-Ferrand.
