“This is a very basic hotel next door to a casino and leisure center near Jonzac town. 3 nights here was a long time for how little there is to do, but we were only in the area for proximity to a wedding venue in La Canonerie. This should not be advertised as 4*, the exterior is very run down, our apartment room overlooked the carpark, the balconies are run down, no basic amenities in the room like a hairdryer or iron, no cooked breakfast options just a very simple buffet in the hotel lobby, no...

“Lovely location, near a lake with restaurants, kayaking. Property was lovely, nice pool and amenities.
Staff were really friendly, they gave us free ice cream, milk when the shop was closed and extra water. They also let us have a late checkout which helped us out and found me a place to work whilst I was there.
Great language skills and a very enjoyable stay.”

“The property consists of small apartments best suited for elderly couples. Their existing clients well represent that. We stayed with two teenage kids and it was tight, somewhat not fitting for the purpose.
The hotel has no AC so I would not recommend staying unless the outside temperatures are below 15C. The windows open but the street is extremely loud even at 3 am.”
