"A nice waterfront location, with a good view across to the bay. Very Pleasant. Being in the hub of the fishing area it was a little noisy on occasions, but not at all unbearable. Lovely town and surrounds, great fish and chips across the road, very short walk! Only downside was no hot water on one night, but all good the following morning."

"The Poet's Cottage was an absolute delight. My wife and I had not been to Stanley for 20 years and chose the cottage based on the description and comments on accomodation.com. The cottage itself couldn't have been in a better location. Walking distance to restaurants and the Stanley Hotel and views from the front window. Everything was presented beautifully, and our hosts Dave and Geraldine were so easy to talk to and very knowledgeable with regard to the Northwest of Tasmania. Dave cooks a great breakfast while Geraldine attends to your coffees and toast. We could not have been more spoiled. Go to Stanley, enjoy the Poets Cottage and wind down for a while. fantastic place to stay. "

"We loved our stay at Tall Timbers, great for families. We had our 6yo granddaughter with us and she enjoyed the pool area and the meals. If the spa could have been a couple of degrees warmer than the pool, everything would have been perfect."
