The Step House hotel was one of our favorite stays on our Ireland trip! We had a beautiful and spacious room that opened onto a terrace overlooking the gardens and mountains in the distance. My girlfriend and I had the most amazing stay here. Pauline is the best host and a fantastic cook. She would always go out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and would always respond to any questions we had promptly. This was a great place! The car park was around the back of the building with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiter, John, gave us excellent advice on things to see and do in the area and Trish, one of the managers, went above and beyond with hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a true old world charm property set in a very peaceful and serene environment. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed especially is very comfortable. The food and service is also excellent even though it is very full at weekends as it is a popular wedding and event property.
