“Good price for the night, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff. The only problem was there was no one on reception at 7.40pm. A note was left on the desk, asking customers to ring a mobile number. But as a person who had just arrived from abroad and didnt have a UK mobile phone couldn’t ring the number. Luckily another customer who was also waiting and had a UK mobile phone, rang the number for me. ”

“Nice, old fashioned hotel, with beautiful dining and tea rooms, lying in the middle of splendid trees and green fields (mostly part of the golf course). Bedroom is lacking a bit on the soundproof, but for the rest nothing to complain about. Excellent breakfast and diner.”

“Great location, room a little tired but fine for us. I was really upset to see that the beautiful blue painted exterior of the hotel, that made it stand out, has been changed to grey!”

“Beautiful period property with bags of character. Lovely lounge area with comfortable seating to relax and chat, have a drink before or after dining. Very comfortable bed, excellent food and so therefore excellent value for money for your stay.”

“What a gem. Didnt know this place existed but so glad we found it. Jennifer and Paige were superstars, full of smiles and very welcoming. Just what weneeded after a drive from Weymouth. Food was very well presented and exceeded expectations. Tranquil and expansive grounds for dogs to run around. No traffic. Good for them. We would recommend and will definitely go back.”
