Now, I’m going to be honest. The rooms are not updated or fancy…more like a holiday inn….but the staff more than makes up for the simple/old rooms. Every single person was so nice, kind, and helpful. Georgia was especially helpful to us! We appreciated her advice! The outdoor deck was beautiful, and the restaurant was fantastic! Also, the location could not be better with amazing views.

This is a lovely hotel near the cable car that goes up the mountain. You can ski right up to the front door of the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and eager to please. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the hotel. Traveling single, I had a lot of questions, and the staff at the desk fielded them all and were very helpful. We finally found a hotel in Switzerland with air conditioning...it was very much needed after a long day of hiking. All of the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly. The hotel is very well located in a lovely pedestrian only part of town surrounded by great restaurants, easy walk from the train station. We loved the view from our balcony. The honesty bar was an added bonus and breakfast was the best we had in Switzerland. I would go out of my way to stay in this hotel again.
