RoofTop is truly a gem! Before booking I had read several reviews praising this place which lead to high expectations - and I was not disappointed. From the stunning rooms to the tentative and professional staff, this is a must-stay when in Gambia. Or might I say it's worth booking a trip just to see this small and exclusive paradise. The owner Urban makes you feel like you have come home, a very serene feeling that many of us need!

Awesome property! Beautiful grounds. Staff is excellent, courteous and helpful. Onsite owners are a breath of fresh air. Food is high quality and delicious. Have stayed 2 years in a row and will return. The rooms are large and accommodating with private balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and striking green scenery. I found nothing I wanted or needed that wasn’t there. Outstanding!

We stayed in a two bedroom villa off the pool. It was so lovely, staff is so helpful and nice. The pool is awesome, especially the pool man.

I traveled alone looking for some time to relax and introspection, by chance I found Nemasu ecolodge, nobody adviced me to go, never heard about but it turned out to be the perfect place. Good room,suoer efficient and friendly staff and great food. Close enough to the main road for easy access but very quiet amd 2 minutes from a beautiful beach - clean and almost deserted

Wow, Metzy Residence is more than an Hotel. It is home. The staff is friendly. Attends to your needs all the time. Room is spacious and the decor is really nice. Room is very clean with. I went up there for a wedding. Was surprised when i came back the room was decorated with balloons and flowers and had a complimentary champagne for free at our disposal. I’ve traveled to many countries and The Gambia has surprised me. I love the property, the culture, the people. If I want for business I’d stay for at least a month

This was for a business meeting that was held at the hotel for 2 days. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use a lot of the facilities because of the work. I am a runner, so managed to run in the mornings before work. One run I did along the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is highly eroded, so at high tide, you have to trudge through soft sand until you get a few hundred meters away, where the beach is not eroded. Quite a nice place for the price. Big room with a balcony, good restaurant, minutes from the beach. Different types of outlets in the room so you don’t need a converter. Male staff members trying to chat you up are very annoying, so maybe not the most ideal for solo female travelers.
