"The Villa is beautiful, Santo was wonderful and very respectful. The ocean is absolutely gorgeous, especially at low tide. We loved seeing all the local people working together. Unfortunately, the locals do not know how to leave the tourists alone, it’s especially overwhelming when you are trying to go to the beach behind the villa with your family. We highly recommend you chartering a boat from Mothassane, they made our trip to Vilanculos. "

"It is our first visit to Mozambique. Linda helped us with every step from getting paperwork for the visa, airport pickup, ATM, groceries, tours. Baobab beach is a gorgeous tree park with excellent dining is within walking distance. Odyssea Dive offers great diving and tours. If you want to feel at home in Mozambique, look no further. "

"We loved the space inside the house. We were four people in total, and it was very comfortable for our two adult children and us to hang out in the living room, breakfast bar, or outside on the patio. The pool was just a few steps from the patio, very clean and comfortable, and very welcome in the hot days in January! There are a handful of restaurants within 10 min. walk, which we took advantage of on the nights we didn’t cook inside the villa. "

"The location is lovely, but the chalet itself was in a horrible condition when we arrived. It was extremly dirty and not in a good condition. The stuff and owners were very helpful, but that place definitely needs an upgrade. It is not a 3 star accommodation. "

"6 of us stayed at Villa 1 at Deacra and the overall trip was pretty good with a few caveats. Positives - The staff were amazing - e.g. Jill tried to find a way for our one veg-only members to find alternates (although avoid vilankulos if you can’t eat fish!), shuttles were organized for us to go to the restaraunts (tuk tuks cost about $5 for a one way trip for 3 people as well) and they were very responsive with any of our queries - The views from the villa are great, and it’s a short 5-10...

"Great views of the ocean. The apartment did have some problems e.g. there was no internet, we were assured that this was being sorted out. There wete also problems with Air Cons , lights and handles on cupboards had fallen off. Management were very responsive to feedback, and we suggested that someone should check the apartments to ensure everything was ok before the next guests moved in for their stay. "Wonderful, restored art deco hotel with standard amenities and wonderful staff. Special thanks to Paolo for all his help in arranging transport to Tofo given the political protests. FYI, the hotel is some distance from the main town and ATMs - perhaps 30 minute walk. But the main boat tour operators to Bazaruto will pick you up on the beach in front of the hotel."

"The owner was very hospitable and even let us start a few hours past check out as our flight was at 2pm. Colleen also arranged for a lovely cultural tour at our request. It’s a very nice place and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious! Not some bland breakfast bar. It was like breakfast at a cute ocean view cafe where you could order an omelette or French toast. Great stay"
