“This "hotel" is approximately 28 units total. No elevators. The entire lower level is rented as housing units.(my best guess, subsidized housing) The place was filthy. There was, we believe, blood splatter on the bathroom door and it didn't shut. The bed skirts were filthy with what I suspect was mold. Floor and walls patched. Literally nowhere else around to go. The manager's door was locked in broad daylight. This is NOT a hotel...more like an SRO. This "hotel" if receiving subsidies from the...

“Cabin was very nice and Wright on water and beach real close. Beautiful landscapes was very beautiful. I would recommend this to my family and friends.”

“Our family had the best time here. Dennis is a good host! ”

“i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future.”

“It was a cute place. Nice view! It was little hard to find. I think they should have signs to help guide you. I would recommend a bigger refrigerator w/freezer. We did not have wifi connection. I called about it and was told someone will contact me next day and no one ever did. It was very inconvenient for me because i had to do some work remotely. Our next night there the power went out in the bathroom. I tried to call to get that fixed but since we didn't have wifi connection I couldn't get...

“The home was very clean and stocked with the essentials that we needed for five of us to stay a couple of nights. Our stay here was a very good experience.”

“Everything was wonderful. Cabin was clean. Only thing i wish it had was a fire ring to build a fire close by. But it was within 100 yards”

“The location was perfect for us, as we were close to family. Everything looks new in the home. It was very nice inside and the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed. ”

“Very clean! Easy to find! Plenty of parking! Owners are great and made everything convenient and easy! ”

“This was a gorgeous property! We were only supposed to stay 2 nights but decided almost immediately to extend and stayed for the whole trip. Calling to extend was smooth and the representative was courteous and friendly and the owners were amazing! I’d definitely recommend staying here!”

“We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. Very out of the way but driving around we just got to see more of the countryside. Bring some groceries. ”

“"WOW" is too small a word to describe how utterly fantastic our whole experience was at Sunset Climb & Hike: Red River Gorge Cabin. The communication with the hosts both before and after our arrival was truly exceptional! They placed bakery treats in the fridge, recommended local restaurants, and were willing to correct any problem should one arise; none did. The cabin itself was constructed from refurbished wood and corrugated metal from an old tobacco barn. The craftsmanship was flawless...
