“The room was full of dust, clearly not cleaned or halfheartedly done. Toilet were dirty and no hand soap was available. Staff were nonchalant and one had severe attitude when I asked why did you need me to hand write my CC details when they were already used for the booking. And i showed it as requested. The building seemed more like a back packer. TV was old and no option for Netflix or other apps. I felt back in 2000. The heater could not be turned off it was unbearable. Sleeping was almost...

“The welcome was warm and authentic and while our 2 bedroom cabin was compact in size it was clean, warm and suitable for our needs. The property was very quiet with views over the lake. A very affordable option for off mountain accomodation during the ski season. Would happily stay again.”

“We are a family of 3 with a preschooler. We had so much fun playing on the snow just outside the hotel. The village is just few minutes walk while the scenery is very nice. The staff are very nice and accommodating. We would have love to go to the pool but it’s only available for adults.”

“We needed early access to our room due to a family function in Mansfield. The manager was very obliging and we were grateful to be able to swap out of our travel clothes. The motel is in a great location near the Main Street and the coffee shop/cafe next door is brilliant. The rooms are well maintained and quiet. I will return for sure.”

“Not given the door code, email was mean to give it but the space was blank. However the mobile number you can call from the front car park board is promptly answered. Previous guests do not always know how to clean dishes and this small room does not have a dishwasher, It would be good for the cleaner to check cleanliness of dishes and wash them again if not clean. It would be nice to have some coffee sachets - far too many tea bags and no coffee...... Otherwise it is a great place to stay,...

“Just completed our annual snow trip to Buller. We stayed in a family room. Big room (for the snow) with breakfast included. Amazing location at the top of Bourke St. Proper ski in/out. And the Double cheseburger on their menu is legit! We'll definitely be coming back. ”

“Right on the ski field (can literally walk out door and you are there). But Hotel in less than optimal condition: cracks in some windows on main doors, tired condition generally, rooms about a 3* condition. Bathroom poor condition (bath did not even drain properly - bath maybe installed on an angle?). Quite expensive for its quality. Not sure the high premium for staying there is worthwhile.”
