"Started off badly with a failure by the hotel to pick me up at the Madang airport and then no-one at reception to answer the phone when I tried to let them know I was waiting. Eventually got a lift to the hotel with a local who took pity on me. Gate security is good at the hotel, but it's not located in a good part of town, so just stay inside the grounds unless you have a car. Check-in process was easy and staff were all friendly. "KBB is situated perfectly, and the dining balcony is stunning with the views! The food was delicious, but the service was not all that. I found myself waiting a lot, having to try to get the attention of the staff or even walking up to them to ask for service. There was also an issue with ordering a set with lunch, drink and dessert, where I didn't get the drink, and had to ask for the dessert after having waited for a very long time.
