"Nice neighbourhood Friendly staff Great pillows!"

FlaviaDesign City Suites Rome by Halldis
8/10 Good
"The property was more of an Airbnb/apartment than a hotel room. No staff on premises. We are greeted by an employee who escorted us to the apartment. He gave us the front door access code and the key to the apartment. The apartment had great AC, especially during the heatwave that we just experienced. It was strong in both the bedroom and the living area. The kitchen was equipped with a full fridge, toaster, Nespresso machine, pots, pans, cups, plates, and cutlery. There were no pods or paper towels in the kitchen. They supplied counter top liquid cleaner, dish soap (no sponge) and one dishwasher pod. The washer was available but not pods/detergent. There were 3 sets of towels for the 3 of us. Hand soap and 2 packets of shampoo and a hair dryer were given in the bathroom. Lots of storage space in the bedroom. Hanger, iron and ironing board were also available. No extra linens or pillows were available (only 1 per person). The beds were sturdy and had great mattresses. Unfortunately very dusty underneath the master bed. Comforters were available in the cabinets if we needed them. This apartment had NO BLACKOUT curtains. It was bright every morning at 545am. If you are wanting to start the day slowly, this wouldn't be the place for you. All in all, Flavia Design studios was 4/5 for us. Comfortable enough for the stay but needed a few more amenities to make the stay returnable."

Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA - Preferred Hotels & Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we arrived, Parco dei Principi delivered an experience that epitomised elegance, sophistication, and impeccable hospitality. Nestled beside the beautiful Villa Borghese gardens, the hotel offers a tranquil sanctuary away from the bustle of Rome while remaining perfectly positioned to explore the Eternal City. Every aspect of our stay reflected a commitment to excellence. The interiors exude timeless grandeur, combining classic Italian luxury with refined attention to detail. The rooms were beautifully appointed, immaculately maintained, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and opulence. The service throughout was exemplary. Every member of staff demonstrated genuine professionalism, warmth, and a dedication to ensuring that every moment of our stay was memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of personalised attention elevated the experience far beyond that of a typical five-star hotel. The facilities are equally impressive. The magnificent spa, elegant pool area, and superb dining options create an atmosphere of pure indulgence, allowing guests to relax and unwind in absolute comfort. What truly sets Parco dei Principi apart is its sense of understated class. There is a rare feeling of exclusivity and refinement throughout the property, reminiscent of a bygone era of luxury, yet delivered with all the comforts expected of a world-class hotel."

"The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. However, there wasn't much parking available. The staff was mean. When I checked in, they spoke only Italian with their coworker instead of communicating with me. I felt like they were talking about me, which made me feel uncomfortable."

Radisson Blu GHR Hotel, Rome
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast attentive staff. Shower was extremely slippery. Had to place a towel down in the shower to avoid slipping. Not the hotel for you if you cannot manoeuvre stairs. Despite having ramps here and there, I still had to walk up/down some stairs."

Leon's Place Hotel

"Great hotel! Only thing is it’s a bit further from all the main attractions but we used the bus which was convenient."
