“The property is good for people who love the nature and wild. The noise of the frogs is loud and if you can’t handle noise at night do not stay here. The shower was outside with no door and the bathrooms are also outside but you can’t flush you have to use dirt.”

“Dragonfly Ranch felt like a home away from home, I stayed in the Lomi Lomi suite which has a beautiful view, all the amenities you need. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Thank you to the staff!!!”

“I love the place and enjoyed the stay, swing by for dinner open to public! Best pork chops, I have ever tried!”

“Peaceful place at big island!.. it was 20th wedding anniversary and planned 1st big island tour with my wife and two kids. Elaine and Wayne gave us special experiences for three days. It was fantastic memories there.”

“Our hosts were knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The view from our balcony (lānai) was amazing with all the lush plants and flowers. The breakfasts were delicious and hardy! We even loved the coqui frogs singing us to sleep at night!”

“This property’s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarah’s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn you’ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property....

“An absolutely beautiful home -- clean and spacious with beautiful views. Very nice hosts with great knowledge of the area and its history. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful. We would definitely stay again.”

“Super”
