"Pros: Room was fine. Breakfast (at extra charge) was good. The nearby area was filled with shopping and restaurants. The beach was a ten-minute walk away. The HOHO bus was a ten-minute walk away. There was a bus stop across the street (going one way) and around the corner (going the other way). Cons: The location is not ideal for tourists. By public transportation, the hotel was an hour away from the major sites. You can't use cash for the bus, so the best bet is to take a taxi to the nearest metro stop (about 10 euro) and buy a pass there (five-days for less than 9 euro). For those who are used to it, know that the hotel did not include shampoo, conditioner or facial tissues. It did have soap. "

"The entire small staff were welcoming, and go out of the way to assist guests. George, who made our breakfast ( by the way, many choices and excellently prepared) , prepared a breakfast for us prior to our 6:45 am departure for the ferry. He even sent me home with a small jar of his homemade orange marmalade ( made with oranges from there property’s trees.) we loved our stay at the Hotel Miranda! Highly recommended."
