“The best part of our visit was the interaction and dedication of the front desk staff member named Jordan. From the moment we arrived she wanted to make sure our stay was a pleasant. We had an issue with our room. When we flushed the toilet, water gushed out the top of the tank and got water all over the floor. We had to use all our towels to clean up the mess. When we told Jordan she was genuinely concerned and wanted to switch us to another room. We told her we thought we fixed the problem by...

“Very clean and well maintained.”

“The door was locked when I arrived. Nobody behind the desk. nobody answered the doorbell. Two phone numbers posted. One went directly to voicemail. The other didn't even have voicemail set up. I eventually got a call from... somebody... saying they would let me in. Other than a less than helpful checkin with zero questions answered, I never saw anybody at the front desk the entire 3 days I stayed there. The restaurant was closed the entire time, also. The room was fine. Nothing special....

“Great Service”

“The reservation was a total screw up/disaster. I arrived and found that the office was locked up at 6:06pm and a sign saying all rooms sold out. No one was there. I called a number for the motel that I found online. The person said that there was no reservation in my name. I gave the itinerary number you supplied. The person continued to say there was no reservation. I don’t know if a problem was on your end or the motel end. It was a TERRIBLE experience!!!”

“This is an old downtown hotel which is neat area. I like looking at downtown’s in every city I go. The hotel doesn’t seem too busy but works for my event. I might have been the only person there this time. The room was clean but other areas not so much. Have bought light bulbs before because there was only 1 wimpy one in the room.”

“True hidden Gem. My wife and I travel a lot and typically stay in bed and breakfasts, and this was one of our favorites in the northeast. Fantastic breakfast was an added bonus. The owner, Penny, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Can't say enough positive things about our stay!”
