"There were no other guests in the hotel but I was told I could not stay in one of the rooms overlooking the sea because they weren’t clean. Instead I was put in a small room in the back. The mattress was comfortable enough, but the thin blanket meant I had to keep the heat on all night, an unpleasant way to sleep. In the morning I found that the water heater did not work so no hot water.
