"Location was great on the beach. Comfortable, updated, ocean view room but bathroom was tiny. Birds kept landing on our balcony. Part of the adventure! Beautiful area and chill away from hub bub of dt Waikiki but there are very few restaurants in the area. Never was able to get reservations for Hau Tree lanai restaurant so had to eat in the bar area. Interior of property needs updating. All that said, we would stay here again. "

"Ocean view room has a great view of the ocean from the side. Street can get noisy and our room can hear it. Great location and amenities. I would suggest they replace the carpets. "

"We did pay for an ocean-view room but got a room facing the book and what I would call a partial ocean view. Also, a bit strange because Expedia Platinum does mention free breakfast, but Expedia only pays for one guests' breakfast regardless of how many people you paid for the room (not a property issue) Regardless a great location and we did get a newly remodeled room so overall it was nice, but I do wish there was more clarity in honoring room upgrades since we paid an extra $400 for the ocean view and were basically facing the pool. "

"Big and clean room. Very helpful staff. Our balcony had great view. Overall good location. ONLY a little weak on food variety on breakfast and beach towels provided weren't very good or big."

"Everyone we encountered as soon as we got there was super helpful and friendly. Henry was one of the bell boys when we pulled up. He was quick to help us and make us as comfortable as possible and we even cane back later to ask him for recommendations for food and things to do. He really went above and beyond for us. The hotel is older so it isn’t going to be a 5 star for the condition of the property and there was construction happening nearby which we were warned about previously while booking, but everything was clean and mostly in working order. We did have an issue on our last night with the tv. The volume button on our remote wasn't working and the tv volume was getting louder and louder so we ended up having to unplug the tv. But other than that everything and everyone there was great. The location was literally next door to the international market and a 4 minute walk to waikiki beach. We will definitely stay here again."
