The property felt safe the rooms were a little dated but check in and check out was fast and easy - the beds weren’t as comfortable as they could have been but overall it’s not a bad place to stay for a night or two
Always stay here when visiting Dubuque, very clean and reasonable

Rooms were very clean and adorable. Check in was smooth and property is conveniently located off the highway. Only issue was that the shower flow was super slow, and water never warmed up.

1 night stay
Floors were dirty..refrigerator didnt work..beds were comfy tho
Window was stuck open and floors were squeaky but there was good space and it was a comfortable and affordable stay. Lots of do it yourself handyman fixes but that gives it some charm. The TV was easy to cast to, it had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge

This is a unique place. Nice enough staff and cutest little girl EVER!
They're in the process of updating things it appears. Bed was comfortable and clean. Water got hot and the water pressure in the shower was amazing!
Different experience. Fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker. Sink off the kitchen part was new. They'll get there. I might try the place across the street next time? :)

Its an older property but clean. Communication is a definite issue and they are not easy to get a hold of. All in all, great value.

OK for the money.
The room was large with apartment size fridge and very comfortable beds. The bathroom window would not close all the way and the floor was very creaky. Poor lighting, too bright in the main part of the room and barely any light in the kitchen alcove.
It was a little dated, that definitely was not a problem! Very clean and well taken care of, staff was good and very friendly once we got checked in and settled. Bed was a little hard but overall it was a nice quaint place to stay.
DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION. When we arrived at the property there wasn't anybody to help us to check in. A sign on the locked door said to call a number, we called. The man gave us a room number to go in with the room key inside, no room security. We had several questions, but he could not help us. The room had cobwebs and marks on the walls, the don't think the bathroom was ever updated. The maid never showed up so we had to us the same towels from the previous day. Other guests needed assistance but could never find a manger.
⭐ **Very Disappointing Experience – Reservation Not Honored**
I would give **0 stars if Google allowed it**.
We had a **confirmed reservation with a confirmation number**. After arriving at the hotel, we went to the front desk and showed our reservation. The front desk representative told us that **there was no room available and that our reservation was not valid**.
The way we were treated was extremely disappointing. The front desk representative was **rude, arrogant, and unwilling to help**. We were repeatedly told that all rooms were full and that our reservation would not be honored.
There was also **no manager or other responsible staff member available** for us to speak with. We were simply told to send a picture of our reservation to a mobile phone number. When we tried to discuss the situation and find a solution, the front desk representative said he would **end/cancel the call**.
If a hotel provides a confirmation number for a reservation, guests should reasonably expect that reservation to be honored. If there is a problem with the booking, the hotel should take responsibility and help the guest find a solution—not turn the guest away after arrival.
This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. **I strongly recommend that management look into how reservations are handled and, especially, how guests are treated at the front desk.
I am posting this review so that other customers can be aware of this experience before making a reservation.
