"Our stay at Comfort Hotel couldnt have been better. The staff were amazing, especially the headmistress. While on the outside you wouldnt know it, the inside was full marble and beautiful. We paid 5 euro a person to have breakfast included every morning, which was great. Standand balkan breakfast with hood options and fresh food. We really liked that this area wasnt very touristy when we went(in august). It felt very home-y and like we were one of the locals. "

"Vila Cano is a budget hotel fifteen-minute walk from the beach and supermarkets. It is an old residential building converted into a hotel. The worst aspect for me was that the bathroom is not private but shared by other guests, which made my stay rather inconvenient. Also, there is no shower curtain nor shampoo provided. "We stayed here in May for three days (see our review) and loved it so much we had two nights on our way home in September, just as great. Parking right outside, lovely clean spacious rooms with such comfortable beds, and even though it is in the middle of everything it is quiet so you get a good nights sleep. The owner is lovely, as are the staff especially the housekeeping lady. Good food in the restaurant and five minutes walk to Lunar park to promenade with everyone after dinner. Love it,...

"It's a two star hotel apartment near the railroad in Durres 15 minute walk away from the beach. It's not in a quiet location as there are many neighbors making noise and many stray dogs barking. There's no regular and daily housekeeping and no water is provided in the room. The toilet and shower are very dirty. The staff is friendly though and there's free laundry service."
