"If you like to talk to people at reception or have issues fixed promptly, then do not stay here. There was no working smoke alarm (open with battery out). When i had issues with tv i rang the help desk and was hung up on twice. (it went through to the help desk). I would not stay here again."

"Remember it's 3 star budget accommodation and you'll have realistic expectations and a comfortable stay. This was my third visit. I do find the mattress too firm for me, but my husband said it was fine. This time I felt a bit of maintenance was needed: the hair dryer died, the exhaust fan sounded on it's way out and the shower head might be next. However, I do like the ladies who run it, they're very helpful - brought a replacement hairdryer very quickly! It's always clean, got the usual...

"The accommodation was so clean, bed was the best yet (4 night trip so far staying in pubs only). Honestly can't fault the place, beer was cheap, food excellent and the fireplaces roaring. I was a good night stay"
