Dongchang, Pyeongtaek hotel rooms at the Independent

"This is my second visit to the Urban Hotel within a month. This hotel is definitely worth the money paid. Hospitable, friendly staff. A huge amenity is the washers/dryer on the 7th floor near the roof. Plenty of water bottles in the room and on each floor. Microwave on every floor near the elevator. Sodas and noodles provided in the fridge upon checking in, along with a nice bathroom amenity kit. It's a 5-minute walk to the Songtan Entertainment District, so it's convenient to everything there and the main gate of Osan Air Base. I will definitely stay here every visit to Songtan."

"My colleagues and I arrived late evening for check in after a long flight and taxi ride from ICN. I was greeted by Ms. Jamie Lee for check in and both her and her co-worker were exceptional ! It is nice to have a friendly, patient team help get you to your room after a long day of travel. I would recommend this hotel anytime."

"Nice quiet aprthotel but no toiletries at all, Bed hard and room very small, living room OK but sofa very hard too. Very old it looks, and definitely not updated. Bath towels smaller then usual hotels hand towels. "

"집 공사로 인해 하루 숙박할 곳이 필요하여 묵었습니다. 다른 지역에 있는 신라스테이에 숙박했을 때도 매우 만족스러웠는데, 천안 신라스테이도 역시 좋네요. 조식도 맛있었고, 중식은 50% 할인 혜택이 있어 이용해봤는데, 기대 이상으로 훌륭했습니다. 전체적으로 복잡하거나 시끄럽지 않아 조용하게 쉴 수 있었던 점도 인상 깊었어요. 객실 상태도 매우 청결했고, 3시 체크아웃이 가능해서 여유롭게 일을 하면서 쉬다가 체크아웃할 수 있어 정말 만족스러웠습니다. 지인이 천안에 머물거나 또 숙박할 곳이 필요하다면 적극 추천하겠습니다."

"For the first time I felt like we were in a Hotel in Korea. Provided A/C remote control and towels. Location is not a great place for tourists. Hotel is pretty close to the train station - around 15 minutes by taxi. Overall, we felt safe and felt comfortable. Bed is OK, could do some improvement. "
