"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location even if you haven't got a car as the bus stop is just round the corner taking you into the centre and the station in around 15 minutes. Also good for cyclists as they have a locked store. Not many places to eat nearby however. Breakfast is fine. Beds are very comfortable and although rooms are quite small there's everything that you need for a short stay. Next door hotel is popular with commercial drivers so can be noisy early morning."

"The facilities of the hotel are excellent. The only shame is the woodland cabins appear to be removing the kids playground. The reception staff at check in weren't very helpful, we had a tiring train journey and just needed a run around for the boys but they suggested outside of the hotel, they didn't realise they had a playground. Outside of the hotel, little Switzerland is lovely in the woods but there needed better pedestrian access from the hotel. The pool indoors is great, we had...
