It started out poorly. I messaged the hotel about our visit and they responded in a very curt manner. We were booked for their most expensive room. They didn't respond until 10 hours before our arrival. This is why they are a three-star hotel.
I don't expect much from a 3-star, but at 5-star prices, they better deliver. I've paid less in Times Square, NYC.
The staff was amazing. No complaints at all. The way we were treated prior to our arrival was horrendous. Three stars for sure.
The interior of our "VIP" room was ... "fine". Living room, bedroom, bathroom. They arranged a special welcome kit for us because I let them know what occasion it was. That was nice and very welcoming - especially for a three-star. The wallpaper had some wear and tear and clear signs of things being in need of consideration.
On our way out, we saw some of the other rooms. Ondol and Sea-view were literally half and big.
Overall, great friendly staff. No complaints at all. The communication prior to arrival though, was not good at all.
