A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being almost empty!) at 630pm. But- more choice available in nearby Doué-la-Fontaine about 10 mins drive . Would thoroughly recommend this family run hotel as a stop-off on the long drive south from Calais, or for short excursions into the Saumur area.

Très bel établissement à la décoration soignée. Les chambres sont propres, les serviettes et draps également. Le personnel est naturellement sympathique sans trop en ajouter. Le petit déjeuner est top.😊 Je recommande fortement.

Un accueil bien agréable ! nous y sommes resté 2 nuits en fin de compte ! nous avons pu constaté le 2eme jours ou nous avons pris le petit dejeuner, que celui ci etait tres varié copieux ! le service à votre écoute tres sympatique avec un super sens de l'accueil !çela fait plaisir d'avoir de jeunes personnes au sourire aux lèvres! exemple à suivre petite parenthèse! très bon séjour aux prochains visiteurs !

Température excessive dans la chambre

Chambre proposé wc et douche pas de fenêtre mais éclairé par une simple applique alimenter par des piles ? Qui ne fonctionnaient pas (piles hs) Apres notre demande de changer de chambre on nous a proposé une autre chambre seul probleme température excessive pour cause passage de tuyaux d eau chaude dans le sol Seule moyen de se rafraichir un ventilateur sur pied a disposition dans la chambre mais peu d effet Personnels adorables et serviable A part la chambre le sejour c est bien passé

Étape d’une nuit

Nous avons séjourné en couple pour une nuit dans une chambre avec vue sur la piscine. Bassin qui a été salvateur, compte tenu des chaleurs excessives pour un week-end de mai, on a pu s’y rafraîchir tout autant que profiter de la terrasse ombragée. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et si un quelconque élément vient à manquer, le serveur se fait un plaisir d’en remettre à disposition. Le cadre (véranda) et la musique sont très appréciables Notre petit moins aura été la chaleur assommante dans le bâtiment mais nous avons réussi à créer un courant d’air en ouvrant nos fenêtres dans la nuit, sans pour autant subir de bruit lié à la route, donc tout petit moins. Nous n’avons pas testé le bistrot, ayant préféré le routier d’à côté ( très chouette aussi ) mais des amis croisés sur le parking de l’hôtel nous l’ont chaudement recommandé, une prochaine fois peut-être.
