“Room beautifully clean. Bed comfortable. Only fault was bath towel was threadbare in one place. Still lovely and soft but with a small hole. Very easy to miss, so no real complaints. Good breakfast. Happily stay again”

“Booked this hotel for its location and being able to bring my dog. Room was clean and spacious. Good selection of food available.”

“Stayed here while visiting family. Really pleasantly surprised by the size of the suites and the bed was very comfy. The whole property looks a little dated but I can’t deny we were very comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. It was also very reasonably priced in my opinion. Would be very happy to stay here again.”

“We were kept awake all night by the people upstairs. Not cause they were noisy but cause all rooms have wooden floors and you can hear every step. The finish in the rooms was poor, bits of paint on the wood, chipped walls, and the windows were really old, couldn’t be opened and you could hear everything from outside. We booked it for the spa for my husbands 50th, and were informed on arrival that we had to pay to use the pool. £45 each and that was discounted for that we got a swim in the pool,...

“I was pleasantly surprised with it being a Britannia Hotel. Beds aren’t comfortable though, not one bit, only thing I could criticise”

“Very central, clean, staff in hand at all times, fully equipped kitchen.”

“Stayed there to celebrate a Beatles fan's birthday. Perfect hotel. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Helpful and polite staff. Plenty to eat for breakfast.”
