"Ramada Hotel is a classic, traditional hotel in Guayaquil located in the downtown area, which is very walkable, although you should still be cautious when walking around. Right across the street is the Malecón, which has security, and transportation can easily pick you up or drop you off at the entrance, making it safer. The hotel has been there for many years and, as I was told, is currently undergoing renovations. The room I stayed in had not yet been renovated, but it was still spacious, comfortable, and perfectly fine for a stay. The pool and other amenities were great, and the breakfast was very good, including a couple of traditional Ecuadorian dishes."

"Please check for cost for airport transportation prior to booking a room. Also double check your charges. They are added hidden fees with no explanation for the fees and Expedia is no help"
