โAll in all excellent, ticked absoloutely all boxes for our requirements. Needed a "Staging Post" as early check out from holiday accomodation and very late flight time. On arrival reception staff very pleasant and helpful, in fact our room was ready for us earlier than normal time. โSimply the most beautiful place, tucked away in the hills overlooking Rethymno. Ecofriendly and exquisitely refashioned from an old village. In-house restaurant was likewise awesome with a great selection of Cretan wines. โ
โOur stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best weโve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from.

โModern premises and tasteful dรฉcor. Our room was super comfortable and controls are hi tech, from curtains, to lights. The beach is excellent for swimming and walking, and the view of the mountains is breathtaking. We had a blast in this hotel. I want to come back for a longer stay.โ
