"Would have given a 5 star review but unfortunately neither me or my wife could have a shower, water would only come out at super hot no matter how I tried to ad cold it just stayed boiling hot. Both had to wash in the sink as a consequence. We were in room 6"

"We loved our stay here. It was just what we needed a wholesome family night away. The food was amazing, the views spectacular and our cottage was very cute, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Definitely highly recommend."

"Very clean and peaceful by the countryside. Host is easily reachable via text if you need. Views of the vast lands are amazing. Wifi is incredibly fast too. Bring your own HDMI cable if you want a movie night. Oh and fans too especially in the summer"

"Halifax Hall is an VERY unusual place, which left me feeling rather like a uni student all over again, at 64!! A historic facade quickly gives way to a very modern ‘conference-based’ building, totally with a higher ed student-campus feel (student accommodation is adjacent!). The room was small, but beautiful, with an amazing shower👍 The staff were remarkably friendly & helpful. The breakfast was sensational! Here’s to being 18 again & back to uni days😀"
