This was a great place to stay! Comfy bed, beautiful room, and a nice, quiet neighborhood. They had homemade pastries and great coffee for breakfast (no gluten free, unfortunately, so I can't comment on the quality). It was very clean, aside from some hair in the sink. Will stay here again.
Really easy check-in instructions .. super house and grounds, great historical background - spotless! No staff on-site, as all arrangements were completed via email and text, but the one small question I had was quickly answered by the phone number included in the welcome info. Great experience- would certainly book again! 👍
Such a beautiful mansion that has been well cared for to create a luxurious retreat. It would be super for staying with a group as the large porch would be so fun to hang out with friends. My short stay was a solo trip, but I’d love to return with friends!
A Picture-Perfect Boutique Stay
We only stayed for one night, but I truly wish we could have stayed longer. This charming boutique hotel is tucked away in a peaceful, beautiful setting, and every detail was thoughtfully decorated.
We stayed in the Veranda Suite, which was absolutely gorgeous, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed. It truly felt picture-perfect. The private balcony was a wonderful bonus, with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We also tried the tub, and it was fantastic!
After arriving, we walked around the property to explore and even spotted a deer grazing behind the house, which made the experience feel even more special.
I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for something unique, peaceful, and full of charm. We would happily return!
This property is very beautiful. We loved everything about it, and despite it being pretty busy, it was quiet and peaceful. Our only issue is that we had a lot of luggage for a very long trip across multiple states and there wasn't a whole lot of luggage storage in our room. Breakfast at the property in the morning was lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the living room and on the huge porch to read and enjoy the sunshine. We took a walk through the beautiful neighborhood to check out the other local mansions, too.
We stayed in the Creekside Suite and it was sweet experience! The room was located on the second floor and it was nicely set up, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The windows and balcony had nice views. The coffee, muffins and fruit were lovely in the morning. The building was quiet and other guests we passed by in the common area were friendly. We would enjoy staying here again!
Wonderful experience. Room is clean and updated with a touch of antiquity. Even though there is no front desk but the staff is very friendly and reachable. The on site parking is plenty. Very well kept property!
Probably the cleanest room I've ever booked anywhere. The room was also very quiet for having people right next to us; we didn't hear anybody else at all. Very easy check-in and wonderful amenities. I'm recommending this place to everyone I know.
Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Easy to find, ample parking, close to dining, shopping and entertainment.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The historic property is quite beautiful with many original features. Like any old home it need maintenance. The rubber roof has holes in it and is leaking on the southeast corner of the porch. The grounds are not maintained. I love old houses and this is an amazing property that needs some expensive love.
Fantastic room, furniture and bed comfortable and newly remodeled; easy directions and parking. Really reasonable rates for such a gorgeous historical property. Staff was not on premises but probably more accessible than typical hotel staff in a regular hotel. Very responsive via text (or phone call); friendly - helpful
We really enjoyed our stay. Our room and the common area were beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfortable. And it had a lovely view out the window. 10/10 would recommend. You can hear people moving around in the other suites just a little bit (like doors closing, etc) so just be aware of that.
Clean quiet, breakfast was adequate. We enjoyed the historical feel of the property. We didn't realize the, just push the inner doors to open them. No staff just online.
