"Don't miss a stay here. We didn't do a train car, but the traditional hotel room gives that train vibe, too. The entire hotel is beautiful, art-deco inspired and the staff is beyond superior. Don't miss dinner at Elsie's Daughter, it's delish. And take a drink from that bar or grab one at Caboose Bar and sit out by the firepit. I would return to this place in a HEARTBEAT!"

"We spent the night at Read House on our way home from SC. I had read about the hotel and it's resident ghost in the past, so ....of course, we had to stay! The hotel is one of the most beautiful that I have stayed in. The history of the site is an added bonus. We took a tour of room 311 and had the most engaging guide. I totally recommend a stay at this hotel!! You must explore the hotel and the grounds along with a tour of 311. Our room was beautiful, the bed super comfy, and the staff amazing. Can't wait to stay there again."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful, and the location felt safe. As a woman traveling with my granddaughter, that was very important to me. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious, not overpriced, and the service was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I make another trip to Chattanooga."
