"The Highliner suites hotel has been newly renovated. The rooms were immaculate, the amenities were perfect (mini keurig, microwave, tea, coffee, fridge, complimentary water and shampoo, conditioner, soap etc in the bathroom. The rooms were spotless and fresh. The availability of sockets and USB ports for charging was fantastic - lots of extra ones without having to unplug things in the room. There was complimentary tea/coffee in reception along with light breakfast food - fresh fruit, muffins, danish pastries etc. All the staff were friendly and helpful. This is definitely a place I would go back to."

"The site was undergoing some renovations, so some clutter in the lobby - looking good though! The room was clean and in good shape. Used the airport shuttle quite a bit - excellent service. Great breakfast as well - all this for a good price. Would definitely book again."

"Property was beautiful and private. Really felt like home for a week. Kitchen was fully available and helped us save some money by cooking at home. Bed and shower were comfortable. No air conditioning, but cracking the windows helped and it cooled down plenty at night. Heater worked well when it was cold enough to turn on. Location is very close to downtown, airport, many restaurants, grocery, and shopping, and close to Seward Hwy. Loved staying here and would stay again if we come back! 10/10"

"Property was recently updated. Very comfortable and nice. About .5-1.0 mile walk to all downtown restaurants and activities. Bed was somewhat lumpy and worn out. Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast for $15 was very low key, basic but small offering. Didn’t use onsite bar or breakfast offering."

"Nice hotel but extremely long corridors. Decent location in downtown Anchorage. Good for an overnight visit before a cruise departing from Whittier. The narrated bus tour to Whittier picks up from outside the hotel and takes you to the cruise terminal."

"It was across from Merrill Field Airport. The rooms were clean and the Chinese Food Restaurant next door was very good. The breakfast at Merrull Field Inn was very good and they have a shuttle bus that took us to the airport."
