“This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.”

Chris carried out luggage up three flights of stairs However there was a glitch with the heat to our room after several trips and several tries we were immediately upgraded to a first floor suit Chris and the team made our stay in Oban wonderful I'm very grateful ”
