“We loved our stay. From the outside the hotel looks run down and not operational but once inside it is gorgeous. The staff were so nice and shared the history of the building. Beautiful old hotel from 1870. Each room is decorated differently. The staircase defines grand. Bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet. We will be back for sure. ”
“I wish I had more time to stay here and explore the area—the front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming.
There isn’t onsite parking, but I only had to walk a block to free parking. The hotel does provide a space in the back for unloading and checking in, which was convenient. I even walked to my car late at night and felt completely safe.
The rooms are huge and spotless, and the shower pressure was amazing—just what I needed after a long drive.

“Over the last year, I’ve stayed at all the hotels in this little Coralville complex, and this one is my fave! I’m a hotel snob and hard to please when it comes to hotel rooms, and this one was pleasing in all the ways that are important to me. Nice decor and a space that makes sense, comfy beds with crisp, clean sheets that actually fit the bed, pillow and mattress protectors, tables on both sides of the beds with plugs and USB’s, newish clean shower with a clean brand of toiletries.
