“We had a wonderful stay at The Chincoteague Inn for the 100th Annual Pony Swim! The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The location works well, especially since the Pony Express Trolley stops right out front. We were also able to walk back from the Carnival Grounds in the evening with a stop at the Island Creamery (a must) which is right around the corner from the Inn. “Lady at check in was super friendly. Bed is comfy. Shower is great. Pillows need to be replaced. That is my only complaint. They don’t offer soaps and shampoos but to me that’s just a waste. I always bring my own. Towels were extremely nice for a hotel. Not super big but fluffy and clean. If they got new pillows this place would get five stars from me. I have stayed in a lot of high end hotels and this one is just as nice for a very reasonable price. ”
