A cute little property in the heart of Edam. It is close to the cheese shop and a few restaurants. We stayed in a back building on the second floor. The spiral stairs were steep! The property sits on a canal and it is beautiful. There is a bus very near that is non-stop into Amsterdam and only 30 minutes.

This was a wonderful quaint hotel. The location is idyllic, with a beautiful garden overlooking a canal. The restaurant food and overall dining experience is excellent. Nicolas the manager/owner could not have been more accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel.

Close to bus transportation, walkable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfasts included. Dinner was delicious with good variety of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. Many good bathroom products to use. Close to cheese museum and shops. Charming and by the canal. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Very peaceful and beautiful location, very good canal side restaurant and bar, with other restaurant options a few mins walk away. Easy 25 minute regular bus into Amsterdam central, buses take contactless payment. Potentially a better option than staying in Amsterdam centre if you don’t want to be there beyond 11pm. Free parking nearby. Rooms comfortable and fan provided without asking when hot. I actually cannot fault.

Es war eine wunderschöne Umgebung mit einem sehr, sehr nettem Personal. Edam ist eine niedliche Stadt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war das kleine Zimmer. Aber letztendlich war es kein Problem. Wir wurden liebevoll umsorgt. Direkt an einer Gracht... romantischer ging es nicht.

L'hébergement était impécable. Le service dans le restaurant pourait être mieux. L'attente pour les boissons et les plats était beaucoup trop long. Nous avons du attendre au moins 1 heure entre l'entrée et le plat consistant et nous avons du demander àpres, si non je croix qu'on attendait encore.
