Overall we enjoyed our stay. Pros- good sized apartment, liked that the kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook a meal, like being able to do laundry, close to downtown and attractions. Cons- uncomfortable bed and couch, need directions for oven as all the numbers and settings were worn off, didn't provide laundry soap ( which most places do as travelers shouldn't need to purchase their own) . No closet in main bedroom which was fine for us but wouldn't be if others came with us.

Don't, under any circumstances, have a vehicle with you. We rented at the station but ultimately found out that while there was on-street parking, it was metered from 8.30 am to 6.30pm every day, at a cost of 4.60GBP per hour. There is permit parking available, but the property does not provide any permit. Bed linens and towels are not hotel quality pure white. There is a washing machine but no clothes dryer and no accessible outdoor place to dry them. Back yard is overgrown and unkempt. Front entryway needs to look considerably more welcoming, and front door of apartment needs some work also. There is no safety chain, and a screw or two is missing from the lower door lock. I do not consider that there are blackout curtains in the apartment. The main bedroom has no closet and nowhere to put a suitcase. We actually left a day earlier than booked because of these multiple issues, but predominantly because of the parking issues.
