From the greeting at the entrance to the staff at reception everyone was friendly and proved a pleasant experience of being greeted with a smile. The hotel room was clean and well appointed with a lovely view. The hotel is located in a perfect location for seeing the city. Restaurants and shopping are on the door steps. I walked to the Royal Botanics and the old town. I will stay at the Intercontinental again in my next visit to Edinburgh.

Nicely located,very helpful staff. We had multiple rooms which were the same price but very different. No views. Breakfast was decent, pricey, but service spotty when they were busy.
