Picturesque and Charming

Great little place. Lovely room but the best part of our stay was all the people that work there and the most delicious breakfast in Scotland. Queensferry is a sweet little town. We will definitely be back.

Stayed at the Ravenous Beastie for a family wedding in Queensferry, hotel was nice and comfortable clean and breakfast and staff were amazing would definitely recommend to everyone.

An excellent place to stay in South Queensferry

Check in was straightforward. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location. I had an early start and enjoyed the continental breakfast before setting off.

No knowledge

Well! The lady had no knowledge of my booking but luckily "had one free"and acted as though she was doing me a favour!! The smallest bathroom ever, I was shoulder to shoulder with one wall and the shower cubicle. I couldn't reach the blind as the pull cord was broken so after drawing the white curtains it was a very early start. Only parking was in from of the place, if you were lucky. Only one towel which fortunately was a bath sheet, the smallest hand basin... No decaffeinated coffee on the welcome tray, I had to ask. I had to fill the kettle using a cup as the basin was too small to fit the kettle under the tap! The breakfast was very nice (haggis for breakfast) but as Scotland still has social distancing I was surprised to be seated close to another couple. No view from the room. The hairdryer was on a spring ford that didn't expand and the mirror was too low to see what I was doing. On the plus side, breakfast wasn't until 9 and had a good varied selection.

Ravenous Beastie

A quaint little B&B located in a pretty, cobbled street in an attractive area of Queensferry with good views of the Forth bridge. Our host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and cooked a delicious breakfast. Our room was clean and spacious. Would highly recommend and what a great name!

4th visit. Another happy stay!

As the title says, its my 4th stay at the Ravenous Beastie. The good news is that even in an age of Covid pandemics and so on, the RB is still as great a place to stay as ever. I know I'll always feel welcomed there and I can always enjoy those breakfasts. There'll be a 5th visit one day soon. Thats for sure. :)

Perfect weekend break

We had an overnight stay and it was perfect for a weekend break. Location excellent room very comfortable +great view of the rail bridge. Breakfast wasn't as good as i thot it would be but it was passable. Staff friendly would definitely use again.

There was no doorbell or sign above the door to know you were in the right place and let people know you were there. You can access by the cafe but it was closed. A doorbell would be most welcome and perhaps a small sign in the back lane to help get guests to the right place. The hostess was helpful in that she left a continental breakfast tray for me as I had an early start. The room was pleasant, but I had been expecting a bit more character. The location in the village is great, so it is a good base for exploring. It is a shame that there is no parking very close, but then it is good not to be surrounded by cars. I guess the cafe would be fun and I would have liked to experience it.

It was absolutely amazing to be literally just off the ocean and to hear it and smell it as I fell asleep. Amazing little shops and scenery. The staff is excellent

Had a fab stay for the second time at this property over the weekend. Rooms are lovely and spacious, it is so central to everything and you can get a beautiful view of the bridge from the window! The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and set us up for the day! We’ll definitely be back!

Charming B&B

Moira was very kind and accommodating. The rooms are well kept and the building charming. Breakfast is very good quality and made to order. Happy staying here and recommend being a bit away from the hustle and bustle. Also a great view of the bridge!
