"this is a review for room 117 (vintage).
perhaps it's unavoidable because it's a roll-in shower, but the fixed showerhead is so powerful that water sprays EVERYWHERE. strong water pressure is usually an excellent thing, but here, it's so strong that it results in the entire bathroom floor getting wet. if you're mobile and not in a wheelchair (and particularly if you're mobility-impaired), this is incredibly slippery, dangerous, and messy. there must be a fix that can be employed. steeper drain basin? longer shower curtain? lower water pressure?
additionally, a lot of mineral build-up on the fixed showerhead, which is just sort of gross.
also, as a heads up, there is no desk or table surface to use for writing/a laptop. and the tv is limited to digital cable only. we brought our own streaming device but the remote provided didn't allow for switching inputs and there are no physical buttons on the tv. the front desk confirmed that indeed this room has an older tv and using your own device was not an option. i'm not into paying $300+ for a room AND being subjected to commercial tv.
housecleaning was at it bright and early in the neighboring rooms, and you can hear alllll the vacuuming, moving furniture, etc. a bummer. but maybe unavoidable (and yes, we had our 'do not disturb' sign on the door).
all of this said, the staff was excellent - from front desk to golf cart 'shuttle' driver to pool bar bartender. we'll return and be more prepared for the above."
