“This hotel was a great place to stay in Eger. The rooms were a bit small, but very clean and everything (shower, intranet, etc) worked well. The beds were very comfortable. And the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. One could easily walk to most parts of Eger from this hotel. I was surprise me to find out they charged for parking -- they said it was to pay for the security system. It sort of threw me -- why did they need a security system if this was a safe area? “It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available. ”
